Type an address. VONWEB visits the site the way an ordinary visitor would, measures it across six areas, and gives you one figure out of a hundred — plus every finding behind it, in plain words rather than jargon.
The figure is the weighted mean of the areas that could actually be assessed. An area that could not be assessed contributes nothing to it rather than being scored as zero — a survey should not punish a site for a question it never got to ask.
Not sure what you can point it at? What can I check? lists the addresses VONWEB accepts, the ones it refuses, and why.
A finding is not a code. Each one names what was found, how much it matters, and what fixing it would involve. Severity reads correctly in greyscale — shape first, colour second — so the report works the same way for everyone.
A survey is a snapshot, not a verdict on anyone. It is one moment, from one vantage point, reading public information only. A high figure is not a guarantee and a low one is not an accusation.
