VONWEB has no account, no advertising identifier, and no third-party analytics. The website address you type is sent to our service so that the site can be surveyed, and it is not stored there. The surveys you have run are kept on your phone and nowhere else.
The address you ask us to survey. When you start a survey, the address you typed is sent to our service, which visits that public website and measures it. The address is used to run that one survey and is discarded when the survey finishes. We do not keep a list of the sites you have looked at.
A random installation number. Your copy of the app generates a random number the first time it runs and sends it with each survey. It exists only so that no single installation can overload the service, and it is not linked to you, to your device, to your Apple Account, or to anything you do outside this app. Deleting the app discards it; reinstalling makes a new one.
Nothing else. We do not collect your name, your email address, your location, your contacts, your photos, your device identifiers, or any advertising identifier. There is no sign-in and there is no profile.
Your survey history, the most recent report, and whether you have purchased Pro are stored on your device. They are not uploaded and we cannot read them. Settings offers you two ways to erase them: delete one survey, or delete every survey. Both are immediate and both are irreversible. Removing the app removes them as well.
Checking a domain. When you check a domain, its name is sent to our service, which asks the public domain registries and DNS about it. The name is used for that one check and is not stored.
Certificate reminders. If you ask VONWEB to remind you before a certificate expires, iOS schedules the reminder on your phone. Nothing about it is sent to us. Deleting every survey in Settings also cancels every pending reminder.
We do not sell or share your information. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not show advertising. We do not use third-party analytics or crash reporting. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to build one from.
VONWEB Pro is a single purchase handled entirely by Apple. Apple processes the payment and tells your device whether the purchase is valid; we never see your payment details, and no payment information reaches our service. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
VONWEB is a tool for inspecting public websites. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
A survey reads a public website exactly as an ordinary visitor would, and reports what it found. The website being surveyed is not ours, its contents are not ours, and its own privacy practices are its own.
Because we hold no account and no stored record of you, there is nothing about you for us to retrieve, correct, export, or erase on request. The data the app holds is on your phone, and the Settings screen lets you erase all of it at any time.
If this policy changes, the updated version is published here and the effective date above is revised. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes.
